Child Safety
With the new child restaint laws now in place, child safety is a must.
We are a DPI approved 'Type 2' fitting station for child anchor points in vehicles where a child anchor point is not already fitted.
There are a few different types of anchorage systems that are installed into vehicles. The most common is the 'D' Buckle kit comprising of an anchor point and a 'D' buckle. There is also the 'Crab Bar' which can be fitted to a 4WD behind the second row of seats. This is usually done because a set of older type of fixed drawers may be installed in the vehicle thus covering the factory fitted anchor points.
Newer models of drawers such as the Outback 4WD Interior Accessories drawer set can have ADR compliant anchor points installed duiring installation or at a later time.
Once a child anchor point is installed, a 'Vehicle Modification Plate' is then attached to your vehicle. This is required by law.
